West Side Fest Summer 2024 and Amerika Exhibition Tours

We are thrilled to be participating in the second annual West Side Fest!

Now extended to three days, West Side Fest is a multi-site celebration bringing together the best of arts and culture on Manhattan’s West Side. From July 12-14, New Yorkers and visitors of all ages are invited to enjoy free admission to participating museums and cultural institutions, and free activities like special indoor and outdoor programming, crafts and artmaking, and much more. 

Our exhibition Javier Téllez: Amerika will be on view, with English and Spanish tours of the exhibition taking place throughout the weekend.  Schedule below:

We ask that visitors stay home if feeling sick, or have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days. Testing before joining us at CARA if feeling symptomatic is strongly recommended. Masks will be available for free.

The closest wheelchair accessible subway is 14th St/8th Avenue station. The entry to CARA is ADA-compliant and our bookstore and galleries are barrier free throughout, with all gender, wheelchair accessible restrooms. CARA has wheelchairs available for guest use. Please request in advance via bookstore@cara-nyc.org. Service animals are welcome.
